For those of you who don’t know it, I love sea turtles. I don’t get to scuba dive very often and I’m not terribly adventurous (meaning a 15 metre / 50 feet dive is plenty enough for me!), but my husband and I enjoy it every time we get a chance. Last time we visited the stunning Mayan Riviera, in Mexico, we had the privilege of diving with wild sea turtles. They are some of the most beautiful creatures I have ever encountered, truly majestic, and I hope the people out there who hunt them and hurt them will realize that before it’s too late. In the mean time, my “water” (or rather, “under water”) card is my little tribute to this beautiful endangered species!
I hope you enjoy my video tutorial as much as I enjoyed creating it for you and that you’ll play along with the design team at the Bastel Traum Challenge blog for a chance to grow your craft supplies collection. Until next time!
In last month’s challenge post you watched me create a home décor project for my baby girl’s 1st birthday. It just so happens that my son was born in the month of May (and so were his two best buddies!) So coming up with a project for this challenge was no challenge at all for me!
To create this project I used thePirate Pals Stamp Set from Sunny Studio Stampsalong with my Silhouette Cameo 3. I started off by making a card for my soon to be 4-year-old boy and, thanks to my awesome Xyron Sticker Maker, he was able to join in the card-making fun by helping me create a couple of cards for his mates.
My favourite card is the one on the bottom right, where he decided the ship’s captain had taken the other wee pirate prisoner by putting him in a barrel! Which is your favourite? Do let me know in the comments section below!
I hope you enjoy today’s video and that it inspires you to play along with us for a chance to win a 15 CHF certificate to the Bastel-Traum.chonline shop. Happy crafting mateys!
Welcome back to another card-making blog post and video tutorial. I hope you’re having a bright and sunny day!
Like many of you, I follow Doodlebug Design on social media. When they introduced their Design Team members for 2017, DT Member Mendi Yoshikawa’s scrapbooking layout of a typewriter caught my attention. Upon reading the content on the typewritten page, I discovered Sunny Studio Stamps and was immediately captivated by their story and beautiful designs.
A few weeks ago I placed my first order with Sunny Studio Stamps and was really touched by Mendi’s handwritten “thank you” on my invoice (all the more so because she got the spelling of my name right!)
I always appreciate it when craft suppliers add a little human touch to an order placed online. This, along with the INFINITE possibilities this stamp and die set offer, inspired me to create today’s video. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope your day is filled with rainbows!!!
