Birthday Cards Created Using Stacking Dies

Hello crafty friends! This week I have felt totally inspired (as I am sure many of you have too!) by Jennifer McGuire’s video on creative uses for stacking dies. What I liked best about this technique was that it allowed me to create a number of cars in one go. So here I am sharing a few shots of the cards I created. The colour combo for the first three was more on the girly side. This one went out to my talented crafty-friend Zsofia (happy birthday, my dear!):

The following one will be going to my kind and thoughtful crafty friend Maria towards the end of the month of May (Maria, I hope you’re not reading this too early!):

And this one will be for my office mate mid-June (we share a love of cake and it shows on our waistlines, I’m afraid!):

All of these were created using the following products by The Stamps of Life:
stitched squares die set and birthday sentiment set.

The following two cards I’m sharing today are belated birthday masculine cards. Masculine cards are always so much harder to come up with for me (part of the reason these two are late!), and this technique made it as easy as finding two more “masculine” colours to match together!

One for my father-in-law:

And one for my brother-in-law:

I created these two using the stacked edges dies by Pretty Pink Posh, and the year two stamp set by Lawn Fawn. Leave me a comment below and let me know which one of them all is your favourite. Until next time, happy paper-crafting!

To create today’s project, I used the awesome “Eggcellent NewsStamps and Dies from Heffy Doodle‘s 3rd release. To recreate my tic-tac-toe grid, you could also reach for our “Stitched Strips of Ease” Dies. I’m using a Pretty Pink Posh die since by the time I made up my mind about wanting the Strips, they had gone out of stock!
