Featured in the Sunny Studio Stamps blog!

Hello crafty friends! In today’s blog post I am showcasing two cards I created recently using a couple of my favourite Sunny Studio Stamps sets. I shared both of these cards on Instagram and Facebook, and they were subsequently spotted and featured in the Sunny Studio Stamps Blog. So I figured if Mendi liked them, maybe you will too!

I created this first card using Sunny Studio Stamps “Magical Mermaids” Set. This card was for my best “mummy friend”, Aenny, whose birthday it was last Monday. I cut out the little stitched window using the Square Peek-a-Boo Window Die-namics die by My Favorite Things, stamped the sentiment in French using my favourite French sentiment set “Tampons Carterie” by Miaoups Creátions (site currently offline), and spelled my friend’s name with Concord & 9th’s awesome Perfectly Penned stamp set (I think this has been a huge seller and I can understand why!)

My second card was created using Sunny Studio Stamps “Perfect Popsicles” layering stamp set. I was going for that “masculine card” look which is sometimes hard to achieve and in the end I found this CAS card came together very easily. No surprise, since this stamp set is so versatile! You can’t tell on the card, but the little popsicle is actually an action wobbler. Which of these two cards is your favourite?! Do let me know in the comments section below!

That’s it for today. I hope you are having a sunny week, and if not, consider treating yourself to a bit of Sunny Studio Stamps retail therapy!

Bubblegum Thank You Card {Lawn Fawn}

Hello again and welcome to my new website and blog! I do hope you like this new website design and that you’ll subscribe under “Follow by email” (on the right) to stay up-to-date on new blog posts and YouTube videos.

Today’s card is a shout-out to my friend Christina, the artist behind Bubblegum Paper. Christina is a super talented card-maker and if you haven’t checked out her blog and YouTube channel yet, I encourage you to do so! Before I started “vlogging”, I got in touch with Christina and she was kind enough to share a bunch of very useful tips with me. So today’s post is my way of saying “Thanks Christina. I think you’re “wicked awesome” and I will be forever grateful for your help.

Below is the link to the YouTube video where you can watch the entire creative process in just over five minutes. Enjoy!

And here’s what you’ll need to recreate this card:
