Bastel Traum Design Team Challenge #52

Hi everyone! I still haven’t got over the hype of hearing from all of you during my little giveaway. Thanks again for all of your comments and likes, which totally made my week!

The exciting news continue as I join my first Design Team. Bastel Traum is my favourite online crafts supply shop here in Switzerland. They also run a challenge blog (in English and German) and have an AMAZING design team which provides monthly inspiration based on the subject set for each challenge. I’m starting off this exciting experience as their DT member with Challenge #52, the subject of which is “Mother’s Day / Women / Little Girls“.

And since we were on the subject of challenges, I decided to go outside my card-making comfort zone to create a piece of home décor for my baby girl’s bedroom.

If you would like to recreate this project, check out the video tutorial below. For a chance to win a 15 CHF gift card to the Bastel Traum online shop (they ship worldwide!), why not take part in this month’s Bastel Traum Challenge and share your beautiful creations with us. This challenge will be open until May 15th 2017 at 8:55 am (MET). Good luck!

Bubblegum Thank You Card {Lawn Fawn}

Hello again and welcome to my new website and blog! I do hope you like this new website design and that you’ll subscribe under “Follow by email” (on the right) to stay up-to-date on new blog posts and YouTube videos.

Today’s card is a shout-out to my friend Christina, the artist behind Bubblegum Paper. Christina is a super talented card-maker and if you haven’t checked out her blog and YouTube channel yet, I encourage you to do so! Before I started “vlogging”, I got in touch with Christina and she was kind enough to share a bunch of very useful tips with me. So today’s post is my way of saying “Thanks Christina. I think you’re “wicked awesome” and I will be forever grateful for your help.

Below is the link to the YouTube video where you can watch the entire creative process in just over five minutes. Enjoy!

And here’s what you’ll need to recreate this card:
