Two Rainbow “Thank You” Cards

Hello crafty friends! The autumn has well and truly arrived in Switzerland and all this rain makes me yearn for rainbows. And so it is that I have created these two rainbow “thank you” cards (in good time for those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving!) which I’m sharing with you today.

The first card is really on the CAS side. I put it together by water colouring a rainbow on to some watercolour paper and then stamping on top of it (3 or 4 times actually, since watercolour paper is so porous!) using some Versafine onyx black ink and my super cool “Thanks4Maricela” stamp set by The Stamps of Life.

In true Stephanie Barnard style, I finished off my card design with some baker’s twine. I love the fact that this stamp set includes a “thanks” in so many languages (perfect for crafty friends around the world). And because it’s a single stamp, it’s also great for bulk card making!

My second rainbow “thank you” card design also features another awesome product by The Stamps of Life simply called “Rainbow Dies“. It was inspired on a project from their idea gallery which I personalised with my “Essential Sentiments” stamp set by My Favorite Things.

And that’s it for today. I hope you like my projects and that your day is full of reasons to be thankful for!
